New Neighbor: HG Stones

The BID welcomes HG Stones, an importer and wholesaler of natural stone and tile business, to West 25th Street. The name is short for Hindustan Granites Inc. HG Stones owns and operates their own quarries & processing facilities in Bangalore, India. They also have facilities in Brooklyn and Long Island. Their Flatiron District location acts as both a showroom and retail store, and is the company's first showroom.

Of the company’s recent expansion, HG Stones Chairman Babu Reddy says, “The new showroom is a beautiful and intimate space that industry professionals can go to check out the latest and greatest surfacing materials, and meet with their clients...we have some truly exciting things planned to celebrate our growth.”

The spacious interior is decorated with marbled stone, a stone reception desk, and a wall filled with many types and colors of stone slabs. HG Stones takes pride in their "large and easily accesseble inventory full of only the best materials."

Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.
