Flatiron District Holiday Dining Guide

If you’re looking for the perfect place to spend the holidays then look no further than the Flatiron District. See below for a list of local dining options and events on Christmas and New Year’s. Contact the restaurants directly for reservations and more information.

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day

230 FIFTH, 230 Fifth Avenue, corner of 27th Street, (212) 725-4300.

Join 230 FIFTH for its Christmas festivities! On December 25th, 230 FIFTH will be serving a Christmas Day Buffet from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Buffet will include Christmas favorites like honey glazed ham, oven roasted turkey, and prime rib. Tickets are $42 for adults and $25 for children.

Enjoy the Holidays at A Voce Madison. Join A Voce for dinner on Christmas Eve from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Almond, 12 East 21st street, between Broadway and Park Avenue South, (212) 228-7557.

Join Almond for their 15th Annual Christmas Eve tradition of roast suckling pig served with cabbage, caramelized apples, and spaetzle. In addition to the roast, Almond will also have its full a la carte menu available. A portion of the proceeds of the evening will be donated to the Pajama Program, a charity that gives pajamas to children in need.

Black Barn, 19 East 26th Street, between Fifth and Madison Avenues, (212) 265-5959.

Black Barn will be serving Christmas Eve Dinner on December 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The menu will include holiday favorites as well as Black Barn’s regular a la carte menu.

The Churchill Tavern, 45 East 28th Street, between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, (646) 476-8419.

The Churchill Tavern is now taking bookings for dinner on Christmas Eve. Book early to ensure a reservation.

ilili, 236 Fifth Avenue, between 27th and 28th Streets, (212) 683-2929.

On December 24th, ilili will be serving a 4-course prix fixe meal with menu entrees, including Stuffed Cornish Hen, Lamb Makloubeh, and Mushroom Gnocchi. The Christmas Eve prix fixe is $70 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.

La Pecora Bianca, 1133 Broadway, on the corner of 26th Street, (212) 498-9696.

Join La Pecora Bianca for its 4-course Feast of Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. The feast is $80 per person and will be served from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Obica Mozzarella Bar, 928 Broadway, between 21st and 22nd Streets, (212) 777-2754.

Obica will be open with regular hours on Christmas Day, serving their regular menu and holiday specials. Chef Enrind’s special holiday dishes take inspiration from Italian cultural heritage and are brought to a new level of sophistication and modernity. 

Rocco Steakhouse, 72 Madison Avenue, between 27th and 28th Streets, (212) 696-9660.

On Christmas Eve, Rocco Steakhouse will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., serving up its standard menu of steakhouse favorites.

New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day

230 FIFTH, 230 Fifth Avenue, corner of 27th Street, (212) 725-4300.

230 FIFTH has all of your New Year’s plans covered. 230 FIFTH’s New Year’s Eve Celebration will begin at 9:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 a.m. Tickets start at $180 per person. Admittance includes open bar until 1:00 a.m., hors d’oeuvres & food platters, and live DJs. 230 FIFTH will also be serving a New Year’s Day Brunch Buffet from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Brunch tickets are $29 for adults and $15 for children.

40/40 Club, 6 West 25th Street, between Sixth Avenue and Broadway, (212) 832-4040.

Come out and celebrate New Year’s Eve 2016 at the 40/40 club. General Entry tickets are $70 and include a midnight toast and New Year’s Eve party favors. The 40/40 club is also offering a range of VIP and private room rentals.

Come celebrate on New Year’s Eve as A Voce offers its regular dinner menu from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Almond, 12 East 21st Street, between Broadway and Park Avenue South, (212) 228-7557.

Almond will be hosting its annual New Year’s Party, which will include a locally sourced 4-course prix fixe menu, champagne toasts, party favors, and music and dancing all night long. Dinner begins at 9:00 p.m. Almond will also be open for brunch on New Year’s Day.

Asellina at The Gansevoort Hotel, 420 Park Avenue South, on the corner of 29th Street, (212) 317-2908.

Experience New York City nightlife on New Year’s Eve at Asellina at The Gansevoort Park Hotel. Enjoy Asellina’s 5-hour premium open bar with entertainment provided by a live DJ performance. The open bar runs from 9:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. General Admission tickets are $99 per person, with VIP package options starting at $139 per person.

Bo’s Kitchen & Bar Room, 6 W 24th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, (212) 234-2373.

Ring in the New Year at Bo’s! From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. there will be a 4-course prix fixe early dinner for $55 per person. Bo’s Special New Year’s Eve 4-course dinner will begin at 9:00 p.m., and will feature music by the Matt Butterman Trio and a midnight champagne toast. Tickets are $115 per person.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2016 at Dos Caminos! There will be prix fixe menus with a la carte options available, and a champagne toast when the clock strikes midnight. Dos Caminos will also be offering tequila flights and their extensive list of cocktails, margaritas, and wine.

Eataly, 200 Fifth Avenue, between 23rd and 24th Streets, (646) 398-5110.

Ring in 2016 at Eataly’s Italian Alps pop-up restaurant, Baita. Feast on overflowing buffet stations featuring traditional alpine fare while toasting to the New Year from Eataly’s selection of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails. Cozy up in Baita’s photo booth after making new friends on the dance floor, then countdown to midnight with your new Eatalian family! Tickets are $95 per person.

Join The Flatiron Room for a festive evening of fine food, luscious drinks, live jazz, and their unmatched selection of whiskey. Enjoy a 5-course menu created by Executive Chef Alecia Angioletti while live jazz entertains and brings you into the New Year. Tickets are $195 per person and include live jazz until 1:00 a.m., party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight.

Harding’s, 32 East 21st Street, between Broadway and Park Avenue South, (212) 600-2105.

Harding’s will be offering a delicious prix fixe meal for New Year’s Eve 2016. The first seating begins at 7:00 p.m. The second seating begins at 9:30 p.m. and includes a 3-hour open bar.  Entrees will include Dry-Aged Strip Steak, Pan-Seared Haddock, and Roasted Quail. Tickets are $75 per person for the first seating and $135 per person for the second seating.

ilili is the perfect place to welcome in 2016. For $140, you can enjoy a 5-course meal as well as a champagne toast, party favors, professional belly dancers performing to traditional and modern regional favorites, and ilili’s House DJ. ilili will also be open for brunch on New Year’s Day from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Kat & Theo, 5 West 21st Street, between Fifth and Sixth and Avenues, (212) 380-1950.

Start 2016 at Kat & Theo with an 8-course meal featuring New Year’s traditions from around the world created by Executive Chef Paras Shah. Seatings at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Prix fixe is $150 per person and wine pairing is an additional $100.

La Pecora Bianca is here to help you celebrate New Year’s Eve Italian Style. The first seating is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second seating begins at 9:00 p.m. Both seatings include a 4-course prix fixe menu and a complimentary carafe of Aperol Spritz. The second seating includes a live DJ and a champagne toast at midnight. The first seating is $95 per person and the second seating is $150 per person.

Join Osteria del Principe for their New Year’s Eve Dinner & Celebrations. Enjoy a special 5-course prix fixe dinner of festive Italian dishes as well as the music of DJ Ricky Russo. A 3-course option is also available for bookings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The 5-course dinner is $80 per person and an additional $40 for a 2-hour open bar with dinner.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the Finest Peruvian Cuisine. Raymi will be offering a special 4-couse dinner with 2016 party favors, a party photographer, and a special champagne toast at midnight. Dinner is $80 per person and will be served from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Rocco Steakhouse will be open at 12:00 p.m. and close after diners are provided with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

Start 2016 right with Toshi’s New Year’s Eve Gala 2016 from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The gala will include live DJs, party favors, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. General admission is $85 per person with VIP packages starting at $125.
