Pokémon GO Fever Hits Flatiron

Did you know that Flatiron is one of the best neighborhoods to catch a Pokémon through the Pokémon GO mobile app? Several Pokémon have been spotted in and around the Flatiron District, and many more are waiting to be discovered.

Many local attractions and businesses are PokéStops, places where you can stock up on Poké Balls and other helpful items. Local businesses include:

  • the National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath),
  • Lego,
  • Birch Coffee,
  • Dos Toros,
  • Home Depot,
  • Museum of Sex,
  • and Abracadabra.

Don’t forget to support these and other local businesses while on your search to “catch ‘em all,” and remember to be safe and remain aware of your surroundings at all times.

Expert tip: Take the Historic Flatiron District Walking Tour with one of our expert tour guides on Sundays starting at 11:00 a.m. and see how many you can catch! Many Pokémons hide near local attractions, such as Masonic Hall, New York Life Building, Worth Monument, and the Fifth Avenue Building Clock, located in front of 200 Fifth Avenue. Can’t make it on Sundays?
