New Neighbor: Fields Good Chicken
Fields Good Chicken is one of the latest additions to the transforming fast-casual dining scene along 23rd Street in the Flatiron District. The new location at 44 East 23rd Street is the brand’s fourth outpost in New York City.
Fields Good Chicken was founded in 2014 by semi pro cyclist-turned-culinarian Field Failing. His eponymous restaurant concept strives to fuel an active, healthy lifestyle with high-quality ingredients and thoughtful, satisfying food that is both delicious and nutritious.
“Opening our fourth location is a significant milestone for the brand, and we’re very excited to set up shop in the Flatiron District with its unique mix of locals, business professionals, and tourists from all over the world,” said Failing. “Flatiron is a quintessential New York neighborhood, and it’s an excellent opportunity for us to further our mission of providing simple, no-BS food to people who care about what they eat.”
Fields Good Chicken proudly serves humanely raised, antibiotic-free chicken. The protein-rich menu features whole, half, quartered, or boneless chicken options that are meant to be paired with house-made sauces like Tangy BBQ, Maple Chipotle, and Tamarind Yogurt. The restaurant also offers scratch-made sides like Mexican Corn Off the Cob, Granny Smith Apple Slaw, and Marinated Kale & Butternut Squash.
Customers can also select from an array of composed Salad and Bowl options featuring three different hand-trimmed chicken preparations including Herb Grilled, Pulled BBQ, and Grilled Mojo. All chef-inspired bowls feature chicken and fresh vegetables served over brown rice or quinoa.
Fields Good Chicken proudly donates 1% of proceeds from signature menu items – The Good Salad and The Good Bowl – to 1% For The Planet, which supports environmental non-profits worldwide. Like its other locations, the new Flatiron District location is 100% wind-powered and features packaging that is both recyclable and biodegradable.
Fields Good Chicken is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
