Millenniheirs with ThoughtMatter

Companies are still learning how to talk to a new generation, and despite increasingly convoluted and unreliable research about millennials, we can all agree on the fact that connecting with them is a top priority. “Millenniheirs” is a fresh look at those under 35 through the standpoint of the world they are inheriting. How can companies start using the power of design to elevate content even as complex as consumer behavior research? In this session, ThoughtMatter will uncover the need to capture and comprehend this generation as real people (not target markets) in a fun and visually exciting way.

You will learn:
  • How people under 35 think about the impact of their purchases
  • Why millennials are looking for a personal experience with products and brands
  • The importance of design thinking in consumer behavior research

ThoughtMatter is a New York-based design and branding studio that focuses on work in the social impact, education and cultural space. They recently completed a comprehensive research project on millennials in partnership with qualitative research group Verbate.
