Digital Marketing Intern

The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District, formed in 2006, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enhance Flatiron and NoMad’s reputation as two of New York’s most vital and exciting neighborhoods. This is accomplished by maintaining a clean and safe environment for the district’s businesses, residents, and visitors; by spearheading area improvement projects; and by marketing the diverse business and retail options in this vibrant and historic neighborhood.  

The Partnership is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to work up to 30 hours per week to perform a variety of functions related to the Partnership’s digital communication platforms. This internship is slated to start in February and run through May, with an option to extend through August. 

The ideal candidate will have an interest in neighborhood development generally, and specifically an aptitude for marketing, communications, events, and community engagement. They should possess a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to learn about a variety of programs. The Partnership is a small office of six full-time staff members and the Digital Marketing Intern must be able to work well with others, multi-task, and work independently at times.  Due to the ongoing pandemic, this position will be remote for the foreseeable future.

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate commensurate with experience/education. Current undergraduate students, prospective graduate students, current graduate students, as well as recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
