Flatiron's Thanksgiving Dining Guide

The first week of November marks the beginning of Thanksgiving preparations. For those who are looking to dine out (or order in) for the holiday, we've put together some local options in the Flatiron District. Contact the restaurants directly for reservations and more information.

Celebrate Thanksgiving at 230 FIFTH! They will be serving a holiday buffet dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. $42 for adults and $25 for children. Call the number above to to make your Thanksgiving buffet dinner reservation.

Belgian Beer Cafe NoMad, 220 Fifth Avenue, corner of 26th Street, (212) 575-2337.

While Belgium may not be known for their turkey tidings, BBC NoMad will keep their doors open on Thursday, November 27th for those indulging in this food centric American tradition or not. Their regular menu will be offered along with a few special surprises from their Executive Chef Bill Peet.

In addition to their regular menu, Cafe el Presidente will be featuring a Thanksgiving Day special: The Turkey Mole Poblano Special is served with Pumpkin Soup; Corn Esquites; Turkey Mole Poblano in a Cazuela (with rice and beans, tortillas, salsa, and pickles), and a Pumpkin Tres Leches cake for dessert. The special is served family style for $25 per person (2 person minimum).

Enjoy a Thanksgiving meal at The Churchill Tavern with entrées such as the Roast Vermont Turkey & Ham with Stuffing and Giblet Gravy, accompanied by a selection of trimmings; Yorkshire puddings; sweet potato, roast potatoes, or mashed potato; and carrot & parsnip puree, peas, broccoli or brussels sprouts.

Harding’s will be serving a traditional American Thanksgiving 3-course prix fixe meal from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. $49 for adults and $29 for children.

Want to enjoy Thanksgiving in the comfort of your own home without the hassle of food preparations? Hill Country has you covered! Hill Country offers an extensive Thanksgiving menu for you to pick-up with three different menu options:

  • The Rancher’s Feast feeds 5-8 and includes a whole pit-smoked turkey, skillet cornbread, 5 house sides, and 1 nine-inch pie ($210).
  • The Governor’s Banquet feeds 9-12 and includes whole pit-smoked turkey, skillet cornbread, 8 house slides, 2-nine-inch pies ($300).
  • A la Carte, whole pit-smoked turkey (9-11 lbs $95 or 14-16 lbs $145), sides range from $14 to $21, each.

You can also order Thanksgiving pies to-go from Hill Country Pie Kitchen. Call to place an order by Monday, November 24th to receive your order on Thanksgiving Day! Made-from-scratch and baked fresh to order Thanksgiving pies are $4.25 for individual serving pie cups, $37.50 for 9” whole pies, and $33.00 for 9” whiskey buttermilk pies! Their pie menu includes classic pumpkin, banana cream, bourbon pecan, apple streusel, and double cherry.

ilili, 236 Fifth Avenue, between 27th and 28th Streets, (212) 683-2929.

ilili will be serving a 4-course prix-fixe menu for $52 per person from 2:00pm to 9:00pm. The menu features Brussels Sprouts with grapes, fig puree, walnuts, and mint yogurt as well as the Thanksgiving favorite Heritage Turkey, which includes roasted breast, confit thigh, and parsnip puree.

ilili also has a take-out option for you enjoy at home. All orders must be placed by Tuesday, November 26th by 5:00 p.m. ilili can also deliver for orders over $500.

KOA Restaurant, 12 West 21st Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, (212) 388-5736.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with your friends and family at KOA with a four-course prix fixe dinner. On the menu is Sichuan Salad, He-He-A-He Turkey, Soymilk Dan Dan Sorba, and Pumpkin Manju Bun. Reserve a table by November 24th.

The NoMad Restaurant will be offering a 4-course menu for $135 per person this Thanksgiving. The menu will feature the holiday favorite: turkey, with seasonal ingredients. There will also be a vegetarian option on the menu.

Sarabeth’s Park Avenue South, 381 Park Avenue South, corner of 27th Street, (212) 335-0093.

Sarabeth’s Park Avenue South will be serving Thanksgiving Brunch from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a 4-course dinner from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dinner menu includes pumpkin soup, beet & apple salad, free range turkey with leek & sausage stuffing, and gingerbread ice cream sandwich with eggnog gelato. Dinner is $65 per person and $35 for children under 12.

SD26 offers a Thanksgiving prix fixe menu with an Italian twist! Menu features Roasted Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing, Sweet Potato Puree, and Cranberry Sauce; Butternut Squash Tortelli with Butter, Sage, and Amaretto Crumble; and Apple Pie with Cinnamon Sauce. $70 for 3 courses, $85 for 4 courses, and $40 for children under 12. Dinner is served from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Leave the cooking to Stix and enjoy your family time this Thanksgiving. You can pre-order your full Thanksgiving dinner and they will deliver to your house on Thanksgiving Day. Stix offers regular dinner menu for 6 people ($170) and 12 people ($340) or supreme dinner menu for 6 people ($220) and 12 people ($460).
