New York State Citizen Preparedness Corps

New York State is offering courses for residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions. Courses will be offered on multiple dates and locations around the state.

On Thursday, November 20th at 6:00 p.m, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, Congress Member Carolyn Maloney, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Senator Brad Hoylman, Assembly Member Brian Kavanagh, Council Member Dan Garodnick, Council Member Rosie Mendez and Community Board 6 invite you to participate in the New York State Citizen Preparedness Training Program at the High School for Health Professions and Human Service (345 East 15th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues).

All participants must register in advance at www.prepare.ny.gov.
