New Neighbor: Just Salad

Just Salad has opened a second location in the Flatiron District on Park Avenue South between 23rd and 24th Streets.

Their promise: a "nutritionally balanced" menu with quality proteins, local in-season products, fresh produce, organic and non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms), and wallet-friendly food. They define "local" as "any ingredient that is sourced from a farm located within 350 miles of the restaurant where it is served." A full list of local sources is available online.

For this month only, Just Salad is offering an April happy hour special with 50% off all smoothies from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. That means you can get your Tropic Spinach Thunder or your Detox Cleanse for $3 each!

Hours are Monday through Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
