New Neighbor: Luke's Lobster

After a fun-filled collaboration with Dig Inn on 23rd Street at Madison Avenue, Luke's Lobster opened its own local "shack" on 25th Street and Broadway on Monday, October 5th.

"We’re confident our lobster rolls will be a hit in this neighborhood,” said Luke Holden, President and Founder of Luke's Lobster in a press release prior to the brand's opening. He continued, "It’s perfect for when you want a lunch that’s healthy for your body—a lobster roll is only 380 calories and lobster is a lean  protein with less cholesterol than chicken—and your conscience—our sustainable seafood is carefully handled and traced from the ocean to your plate—without sacrificing an ounce of taste.”

Luke's Lobster is, of course, known for their lobster rolls and other Maine-style seafood rolls, including shrimp and crab rolls. They select produce that is in season - the source of their seafood is prominently displayed on a blackboard. Seasonal items include lobster grilled cheese. At this location, they also offer a selection of chowders and bisques.

The cozy space offers a few tables and chairs for dining in. The interior features nautical decor that has been "harvested from shipyards, salvaged buoys from the team's lobstering trips, and handmade reclaimed wood counters built by Bryan Holden, Luke's brother and managing partner."

Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
