New Neighbor: Mile High Run Club

Just as New Year’s resolutions for health and wellness were being made – Mile High Run Club, known for its indoor treadmill classes and outdoor running program, opened its doors to its second studio in New York City, located on West 25th Street.

About the new studio, Debora Warner, founder and program director of Mile High Run Club, said, “This is a great opportunity in the right neighborhood. I’m thrilled to be able to offer our customers more classes and launch a second location on our one year anniversary.”

Mile High Run offers a dynamic mix of classes designed for all fitness levels. Offerings include “DASH 28,” a foundation-building class that incorporates running plus strength and power-training with kettlebells; “HIGH 45,” an interval-based running class created to help build endurance and speed; “THE DISTANCE,” a 60 minute challenging sprint tempo and hill training class; and “The Outdoor Adventure Run,” a series of coached runs in key training destinations throughout the streets, bridges and parks of NYC. All classes are paired with music, lighting and design.

The calorie-burning, cardio-infused, strength-building endurance and speed run-focused classes bring new energy and excitement to traditional indoor treadmill and group fitness.

Classes are led by elite runners, top coaches and Olympic and professional athletes. The location features 35 treadmills, showers, and locker rooms. A retail boutique offers merchandise from Mile High Run Club’s signature line, as well as Nike apparel and other running essentials.
