Flatiron District Valentine's Dining Guide

Don’t wait until the last minute to make your Valentine’s dining plans! 230 FIFTH is offering a special brunch and dinner for Valentine’s Day 2016. Brunch is served from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. $29 for adults and $15 for children 12 years and under. Dinner is $52 per guest, and includes a raw bar, dumplings stations, made-to-order salad bar, and carving station.

Join Almond for a special 4-course pomegranate menu on Valentine’s Day from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The special menu includes courses of seasonal dishes featuring pomegranate and costs $60 per person. Almond’s regular a la carte menu is also available.

Black Barn, 19 East 26th Street, between Fifth and Madison Avenues, (212) 265-5959.

Your heart might skip a beat with Black Barn’s 4-course Valentine’s menu consisting of 11 aphrodisiacs for $75 per guest. Menu items include Chipotle-Coffee Rubbed Filet Mignon, Pumpkin Ravioli, and Fried Bluepoint Oysters. The 4-course Valentine’s menu is available Saturday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Black Barn’s full dinner menu is also available.

On Saturday and Sunday, treat your sweetheart to 1/2 price Laurent Perrier with Bo's Valentine's Day Specials. There is live music by The Wisterians.

Single? Mix and mingle on Saturday in the Garden District. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., speed dating and drink specials from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and 1/2 price oysters all night.

Join Bread & Tulips for a romantic 4-course dinner on Valentine’s Day. Dinner is $65 per person and includes a complimentary prosecco toast.

Chop-Shop II, 41 West 24th Street, between Sixth and Fifth Avenues, (646) 964-5672.

Join Chop-Shop II on Valentine’s Day for a special 7-dish tasting menu for $45 per person, including Steamed Dumplings, Roast Baby Chicken, and Stir Fried Rice Cakes. The 7-dish tasting menu also includes a complimentary glass of prosecco or blood orange bellini.

Spend Valentine’s Day at Baita, Eataly’s pop-up alpine restaurant, for “Drink Your Heart Out: An Anti-Valentine’s Day Affair”, featuring unlimited access to drinks from 7 breweries and 10 wineries with the event wristband for $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Baita is also offering $4 tickets for tasty, “love bites”, and a cash bar option for those who do not want the wristband.  The event kicks off with complimentary antipasti from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and runs until 10:00 p.m.

Those with a special someone can treat their sweetie to an elegant 5-course prix fixe menu at Manzo, Eataly’s fine-dining restaurant. The special menu is $125 per person. Reservations are available for the 14th throughout the day from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests can also give the babysitter a break and bring kids aged 8-12 to La Scuola, Eataly’s cooking school, for a tasty meal and cookie decorating class at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.

Join Harding’s for Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th. Harding’s is offering a special 3-course, $60 per person prix fixe as well as their full a la carte menu.

Kat & Theo is offering a 5-course Valentine’s Day dinner for two for $150. Courses include Foie Gras Torchon, Lavender Poached Lobster, and Candied Rose Panna Cotta.

KOA, 12 West 21st Street, between Sixth and Fifth Avenues, (212) 388-5736.

Enjoy a romantic 4-course dinner at KOA on Valentine’s Eve and Valentine’s Day. Dinner is $125 for two and includes amuse bouche, Black Bean Rosted Beef, Lobster Sorba for two, and Chocolate Manju. KOA is also offering live jazz for Valentine’s Day dinner.

On Valentine’s Day, ilili is offering a 6-course prix fixe for $125 per person. ilili’s regular a la carte menu is also available.

La Pecora Bianca, 1133 Broadway, on the corner of 26th Street, (212) 498-9696.

Join La Pecora Bianca for Valentine’s Day, where Chef Simone Bonelli is offering a special 4-course menu for $75 per person. Menu offerings include Scallop & Caviar Risotto, Butter-poached Lobster, and Beet & Ricotta Ravioli.

Whether you are single or taken, Millesime has something for you this Valentine’s Day. Millesime is hosting a singles brunch party on Sunday, February 14th from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Brunch is $29 per person for choice of entrée & unlimited punch for 2 hours. Millesime is also hosting a decadent 3-course prix fixe Valentine’s Night dinner for $75 per person. Dinner includes live jazz from Melanie Marod.

Osteria del Principe is offering special 2-course and 3-course Valentine’s Day dinners featuring their favorite Italian dishes. Both dinners include dessert and a complimentary glass of prosecco. The 2-course dinner is $50 per person and the 3-course is $70 per person. Prices do not include tax and tip.

Rocco Steakhouse is offering its regular menu of dry-aged USDA prime steaks, fresh seafood, and Italian specialties from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. All ladies dining at Rocco Steakhouse for Valentine’s Day receive a complimentary rose. Walk-ins and reservations are both accepted.

In addition to their regular dinner menu, Sarabeth’s is also offering Valentine’s Day Specials like Ricotta Gnudi for $16, Day Boat Scallops for $29, and a Sweetheart Steak for Two for $68.
