Indoor Kids' Activities in the Flatiron District + Social Media Contest Giveaway!

Visit apple seeds' 2,500-square-foot indoor playground for children from birth to five years old. A summer day camp for 3-4-year-olds is also offered – sign up before Monday, February 29 and save 15%!

On Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (4:00 p.m. is the last appointment), get a haircut at apple seeds for $32 or $28.80 for apple seeds members. Twin discount: When both twins get their hair cut, one child gets 50% off.

On Saturday, February 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., children ages 8 to 12 can learn how to make fresh pasta at La Scuola at Eataly. During the class, small chefs can learn how to prepare fresh pasta dough using simple ingredients, explore different pasta shapes, enjoy healthy snacks and a fresh pasta dish prepared by Eataly's chef, take home recipes and one of Eataly's kids aprons! From Monday, February 22 through Sunday, March 27, visit the race ramp at the Flatiron District LEGO Store to build one of the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes vehicles. Then test how super your racing skills are, and race against a friend or challenge a Brick Specialist.

Join LEGO for their Monthly Mini Model Build and learn how to build a mini model LEGO® Bunny at the store, and take it home after – for free! Builders must be between the ages of 6-14 to participate. Perhaps on January 1st, you resolved to run more. Flatiron's Little Folks store makes it easy with their vast selection of jogging strollers for sale--no need to book a babysitter for your workout!

Michaels offers a variety of kids' classes and programs, from crochet to crafting picture frames and kites. On Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to noon, drop in for KIDS CLUB for 30 minutes of crafting for just $2 - supplies included! On Saturday, February 27, create a name-bead necklace. Coloring meets mathematics on Friday, February 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Join mathematician and artist Edmund Harriss as he shares some of his favorite images from Patterns of the Universe, a coloring book he recently pubished with Alex Bellos. Family Fridays at MoMath is a free event to bring families together through fun mathematics activities. Register here

NY Kids Club is a children's enrichment center. Their East 22nd Street location features a 20-foot trampoline, 20-foot-high rock wall, two spacious classrooms, and more. You can schedule a tour of their facilities to learn more about what they do.
