Summer camp registration season is already upon us. We've gathered a diverse selection of children's enrichment sessions, camps and workshops for kids in preschool through the high school years--all in Flatiron! Please contact organizations directly for more information.

apple seeds, 10 West 25th Street, between Broadway and Sixth Avenue, (212) 792-7590.
for ages 3-4 years old

Camp apple seeds offers children the opportunity to make new friends, explore and most importantly have fun in a safe and clean environment that was built especially for them. Campers go on new daily adventures (on a safari, digging for dinosaurs or taking care of the earth), that allow them to explore the world at their own pace with the guidance of the amazing camp apple seeds counselors.

Baruch College Athletics Summer Camp, 55 Lexington Avenue, between East 24th and East 25th Streets, (646) 312-5046.
for ages 5-15 years old

This eight-week summer camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to enjoy field trips, a carnival and a talent show in Baruch's fully air-conditioned Athletic & Recreation Center (ARC). Enrollment is limited to 125 children, so applicants are encouraged to apply early. Parents are offered the flexibility of early drop-off or late pick-up for an additional fee and can select the number of weeks they'd like their children to attend.

BLEU BLANC ROUGE, 111 East 22nd Street, between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue, (212) 780 0932
For ages 3-8 years old

This marks the sixth year of Brigitte Sainte-Ouen's French-language summer camp. Each week the camp hosts a new theme-- architecture, painting, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, sports, games, acting, cooking, and more! Your children will go on adventurous field trips to some of New York’s most famous attractions. Students will conceive, storyboard, write, shoot, draw, model, create sets, and perform on camera to create a short film. The camp is 6 weeks long, from late June to early August. The hours are from Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The program is housed within the Ecole Internationale New York school at 111 East 22nd Street.

Ecole Internationale New York, 206 Fifth Avenue, between West 25th and West 26th Streets, (646) 410-2238.

The first EINY 2016 Summer Camp takes place June 27 to July 15, 2016. The camp is open to all children including those who have no French or English background. The camp provides a fun bilingual experience in French and English through activities like art, dance, music, sports, and cultural excursions at EINY's campus located across from Madison Square Park on Fifth Avenue.

Karma Kids Yoga, 25 West 23rd Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, (646) 638-1444.
for ages 6 weeks-12 years old

At the Karma Kids Yoga studio, children are encouraged to "play" yoga and experience how their breath and body move together in a fun-filled way! Animals, nature and other objects come alive in their classes; as the children move, they learn to stretch their bodies in new creative ways.

This yoga studio does not offer a specific special-session camp; it continues its regular schedule of childrens' classes and unique yoga events into the summer. It does offer, however, spring-break workshops for children 3-5 years old. More information on those workshops here.

Krav Maga Academy, reet, between Broadway and Sixth Avenue, (212) 213-3196.
for ages 5-12 years old

Krav Maga Academy is now offering Krav Maga and Self Defense classes for children. Their training is fused with challenging and competitive games, technical learning and discipline. The Academy maintains the highest level of safety, while giving children the tools to fend off and overturn a potentially dangerous situation.

This fitness studio does not offer a special-session camp; their regular schedule of kids' classes remains in effect, however.

Michaels Stores, 675 Sixth Avenue, between West 21st and West 22nd Streets, (646) 259-3911.
for ages 10-12 years old

Michaels offers a variety of kids' classes and programs, from wood name plaques to Perler necklaces. To coincide with NYC public schools' spring break (Monday, April 25th to Friday, April 29th), children can drop into KIDS CLUB for two hours (10 a.m.-noon) of crafting for just $2 - supplies included! Michaels also offers regularly-scheduled children's classes; check back on this page for updates on summer special events. Register for classes here.

MoMath, 11 East 26th Street, between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue, (212) 542-0566.
for rising 1st through 8th graders

First through eighth graders will experience the richness of mathematics in America's only museum dedicated to math. Transformations, the summer program at MoMath, meets from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. (Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available for an additional fee.) Through full-body interactive activities, hands-on education sessions, and creative projects, math will come alive for each and every participant. Early bird pricing reflecting a 15% discount on registration fees will be offered on registrations completed by March 31, 2016.

NY Kids Club, treet, between Broadway and Park Avenue South, (212) 375-1100.
for ages 2.5-6 years old

Join the NY Kids Club for an unforgettable summer of Olympic Games! Camp attendees celebrate the cultures of the world with NY Kids Club's 2016 Summer Olympics-themed Adventure Camp! Globe-trotting campers flex their physical and creative muscles as they learn about the countries of the world while getting the best of everything the NYKC has to offer: art, dance, sports, music, gymnastics, chess, science and karate.

Tada! Theater, reet, between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, (212) 252-1619.
for ages 4-14 years old

Each week, Tada!'s campers write, rehearse and perform a completely unique mini-musical based on the assigned theme for that camp. Professional teaching artists direct scenes and musical numbers from TADA!'s mainstage musicals and Broadway/Off-Broadway shows. For an additional fee, the organization also offers early drop-off and extended-day "Afternoon Adventures" to accomodate parents that need more flexibility in childcare. If you would like to learn more about TADA! and their summer programming, join them for their next Open House on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 9:30 a.m.-noon.
