Spring Plantings Bring Vibrant Colors to Flatiron

Today, the weather in New York City finally really feels like spring! When walking around the Flatiron District, you will see bursts of color in the BID's spring plantings.

In tree pits throughout the neighborhood, yellow and purple pansies have been planted. The Public Plaza planters are full of vibrant yellow daffodils, bright purple hyacinths and pink tulips. Not only are these flowers beautiful, the hyacinths are very fragrant as well!

Still ahead? Thousands of tulips will bloom in the median malls of Park Avenue South.

BID members interested in "Greening the District" sponsorships, which help support these beautification efforts, can read more about the sponsorships online or contact Jane Kojima at jkojima (at)
