New Neighbor: sundays nail studio

sundays nail studio is revolutionizing the traditional manicure with its first studio location at 51 East 25th Street. With a custom-designed non-toxic vegan nail polish formula, and a space fit for meditation, sundays brings nail care and beauty services to the Flatiron District’s environmentally conscious and health-minded clientele.

After years in the industry, founder AmyLing Lin opened her studio to provide an alternative to harsh chemicals commonly used in the nail and spa environment. “The wellness of our clients and employees is our first priority. By ensuring our products and services are vegan and non-toxic, we hope to reinforce the idea that there is no need to sacrifice wellness for beauty,” Lin said. sundays’ unique hand and foot treatments feature natural elements such as rose water mist, an orange peel scrub, aromatherapy, rose petal infused coconut milk, and a sea salt soak. Massage and meditation services are also available.

AmyLing promotes relaxation throughout the studio from the peaceful wall colors, to a dedicated rest and mindfulness space. “I want clients to walk into sundays and feel like they're walking into a friend's house.” The airy space includes a minimalist nail bar, handmade Danish chairs, and a second-floor lounge where guests can enjoy a drink, take in the art, and relax among friends.

As a new neighbor to the Flatiron District, sundays seeks to connect with the diverse communities who make their home in the neighborhood, from residents, to workers, to visitors. The space at sundays can be utilized as a creative space for corporate events, bridal showers, meditation classes, and other events, in addition to being a peaceful sanctuary for individual clients.

Asked why she chose the Flatiron District, AmyLing said, “Unlike a lot of cookie-cutter square buildings throughout New York, this neighborhood is full of details and personality. I was very happy to find this shop location between Madison and Park - just a step from the park but still a bit hidden with a residential feeling."

Hours are Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
