Get to know Sony Square NYC
At the very center of the neighborhood, if you wander through Madison Square Park and head uptown on Madison Avenue, you might just stumble upon one of the Flatiron District's most fun-filled free experiences: Sony Square NYC. Sony Square NYC is a showplace for the latest in Sony entertainment and technology, and throughout the year Sony brings in new, exciting, interactive exhibits allowing you to play with a variety of technology and try something new each time you visit.
Upon entering the company's New York City headquarters at 25 Madison Avenue, you'll have a hands-on experience with select new Sony technologies and products, some of which are still in the prototype stage. Additionally, the intimate space is used for unique consumer events, Sony Music artist meet and greets, and classes with world-renowned photographers.
New exhibits open at Sony Square NYC every six to eight weeks giving Flatiron District residents and office workers the chance to stop by and enjoy a new experience every few months. The space is currently featuring an “Experience PlayStation” exhibit, that allows guests to check out the enhanced graphics of the PS4 Pro, dive into the immersive experience of PlayStation VR (virtual reality), and get to know the wide variety of content and games across both platforms.
To celebrate the upcoming movie release, be sure to catch their latest showroom addition – an exclusive Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle interactive experience! You'll be transported into the jungle with the help of 3D glasses and a haptic vest. Stop by Sony Square NYC to immerse yourself in the world of Jumanji now through January 8th, 2018. And don't forget to stop by again later in January to see what new Sony technology fun is ready and waiting for you to get your hands on! Sony Square serves as the perfect, cost-effective (free!) activity to keep you or your family from going stir crazy during the cold winter months.
Sony Square NYC is open Monday - Saturday 10 am - 7 pm, and Sunday 11 am - 6 pm. For more information on the space and current exhibits, please visit: sony.com/squarenyc
