New Neighbor: Obicà Mozzarella Bar

On Monday July 21st, Obicà Mozzarella Bar had a soft opening for their New York City flagship restaurant in the Flatiron District. The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, July 24th. The Flatiron location is company's 20th restaurant; it joins other locations in Italy, London, Tokyo, and Dubai.

The Mozzarella Bar features four types of Mozzarella: Bufala Classica (delicate), Bufala Affumicata (smoked), Burrata (creamy), and Burrata al Tartufo (with black truffle). The cheeses are made in the Italian region of Campania and are imported twice a week to guarantee the freshest product possible.

For $38, you can have "The Obicà Experience" - a set menu with the restaurant’s best offerings. Menu items are also available a la carte, including cured meats, salads, pizza, and pasta.

Obicà’s hours are Sunday through Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday and Friday 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
