  • Mark's Off Madison opens up on 41 Madison Avenue between E. 25th and E. 26th. The brisket ragu dish is featured by on "The Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week" (via Eater New York) and owner Mark Strausman discusses his inspiration behind opening the restaurant (via Crain's New York).  
  • Simon Kim, the owner of Cote, is interviewed about their take on Korean steakhouse and their expansion to Miami, Florida (via Cool Hunting).
  • Dippin' Dots and Doc Popcorn will be opening their flagship store at 1 Madison Avenue. They are expected to open in early April (via QSR).

  • Jeff Bezos real estate profile includes a three-bedroom condominium worth $16 million at 212 Fifth Avenue (via New York Post).
  • Manhattan Self Storage receives $35 million funding to redevelop a parking facility on 41 East 21st Street. into a self-storage asset (via Multi Housing News).
  • Fintech Company Even Financial relocated its headquarters from 43 West 24th Street to 50 West 23rd Street. The new space is 11,935 square feet and has roof decks. Even Financial are new neighbors to Dropbox, The Skimm, and Foursquare (via Commerical Observer). 
Around the Neighborhood
  • Breaking Ground has been converting NYC hotels into affordable housing for the past 30 years. Most notably in the Flatiron District is Prince George Hotel (via Pix 11). 
  • Maya Lin, an American artist and environmental activist, will be opening up an immersive installation at Madison Square Park this spring. The installation, Ghost Forests will visualize the negative of climate change (via The Art Newspaper). 
  • The MTA puts back the benches at the 23rd Street Station of the  F/M subway line (via Curbed).
