New Neighbor: Cafe el Presidente

West 24th Street between Sixth Avenue and Broadway has seen exciting changes this spring with both the "new neighbors" in this newsletter calling the block home! The first of the two is Cafe el Presidente, a new restaurant venture from Dario Wolos and the team behind Tacombi at Fonda Nolita on Elizabeth Street.

Billed as one of Eater's "30 Most Anticipated Spring/Summer Openings," Cafe el Presidente is more than a taqueria; they also feature a juice and coffee bar, along with house made tortillas and a small marketplace for Mexican grocery items. Take a seat at the bar beside the open kitchen, and you can order tacos directly from the line cooks.

Currently, Cafe el Presidente is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Beginning on May 24th, breakfast, brunch, coffee and juice service will start from 7:00 a.m. daily. Delivery will be available on June 1st.
