Flatiron Summer Cocktail Guide

The sun is shining, and the city is buzzing. Take a break from the heat this summer and cool off with one of Flatiron's most coveted summer cocktails. With summer Fridays on the horizon, take advantage of this round-up to game plan your happy hours.

Along with a 3 pm - 7 pm Happy Hour menu, Almond offers a specialty cocktail menu that provides a little taste of the Hamptons in Manhattan. Stop by the Flatiron location to enjoy the "Butterfly Effect" made with Tom's Town gin, mezcal, italicus, lime, and butterfly pea flower tea.

With three different cocktail menus to choose from at Broken Shaker, there is truly something for everyone. Off the "Miami Vibes" menu, Broken Shaker's refreshingly sweet "Blackberry Buck" is made with Absolut Lime, Fords Gin, blackberry-mulled wine, fresh lime & grapefruit rosemary tonic.

For a Mexican-inspired cocktail on a sunny afternoon, head over to Cosme for the "Cosme Cocktail". Made with Casa Dragon Blanco, Giffard's Triple Sec, lime, and cranberry tincture, Cosme's specialty cocktails are sweet and sophisticated.

If you're looking for something outside your typical drink order, GW Bar has both "Classic" and "Original" cocktail menus that are serving up some serious cocktail creativity. GW's "Cabin in the Woods" is made with branca menta, Smith & Cross rum, ancho reyes, banana, cold brew, and black urfa chili.

Fully equipped for summer cocktail cravings, La Pecora Bianca has a Spritz Bar, Negroni Bar, and Specialty Cocktails. For a strong drink that pops, try the "Negroni Sbagliato," made with Campari, Carpano Antica, and prosecco.

Leonelli Taberna's Happy Hour was named one of Eater NYC's "35 Solid Happy Hour Deals in NYC." From 5 pm to 7 pm daily, the Taberna bar and lounge serves $8 cocktails and wine, $5 beer, and $5 and $10 small plates. Perfect for summer, the cocktail list includes a spritz made with Luxardo Aperitivio and Cocchi Rosa.

Celebrate Summer Fridays all summer long with Quality Eats. Every Friday from 2 pm to  5pm, guests can pay $25 for 3 cocktails/drinks and unlimited passed snacks. For a cocktail as icy as it is spicy, try the "Adios", made with Espolon Blanco, Tarragon, Green Charteuse, and Habenero Cubes.

This summer, Scampi is serving the sweet yet strong "King's Garden" cocktail. Stacked with butterfly pea flower-infused Great King St Scotch, creme de violette, lemon, and honey, this cocktail is best enjoyed alongside Scampi's diverse and extensive dinner menu.

Located on the 14th floor of Eataly, Serra Fiorita's "flowering greenhouse" is the ideal spot to escape the city for a cocktail. While taking in views of the blooming mock Italian countryside and the iconic Flatiron building, sip on a frozen Aperol Spritz or choose from the extensive Spritz menu. Perfect for groups, the "Flatiron Fizz" pitcher is also available featuring blood orange juice, gin, soda, and garnished with orange slices.

Wagamama has a new offering of Asian-inspired cocktails like a lychee martini and a yuzu collins with gin, yuzu-flavored sake, and ginger liqueur. Get your whiskey fix with the wagamama old fashioned, made with a blend of three Japanese whiskeys, sherry, and lychee liqueur. The bar also serves a flight of sakes and bottled beers, including a matcha brew.
