Flatiron's Food Drive for the Food Bank For New York City

With so many New Yorkers experiencing hunger and hardship, the Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District is holding a food drive throughout December to benefit the Food Bank For New York City, the city’s major hunger relief organization.

As part of our third annual “23 Days of Flatiron Cheer,” the Flatiron Partnership is collecting non-perishable foods such as canned fruit, canned vegetables, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, and hot and cold cereal in Flatiron’s North Public Plaza at 23rd Street, Broadway and Fifth Avenue. New Yorkers are encouraged to drop off items Monday through Saturday from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Flatiron’s North Public Plaza until December 23rd.

Donations are also accepted online which double – or even triple – the amount a dollar can provide at the grocery store. Visit to donate.
