Ring in 2015 in the Flatiron District

To welcome in 2015, look no further than the Flatiron District! Neighborhood businesses are offering a wide range of New Year’s Eve experiences, from lavish clubs to fine dining. Check out the list of events below, and for more information contact the restaurant or venue directly.

230 FIFTH, 230 Fifth Avenue, (212) 725-4300
 Enjoy the impressive view from 230 FIFTH at their New Year’s Eve Celebration, which runs from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. A reservation includes food, open bar, and music provided by two live DJs. Individual reservations are $180 per person, while a table for two is $275 per guest, and a table for four, six, or eight is $250 per guest.
40/40 Club, 6 West 25th Street, (212) 832-4040

JayZ’s 40/40 Club New Year’s Eve Bash 2015 will be a party you won’t want to miss. Reservations are strongly recommended. General Entry is $80, and VIP Entry, which includes open bar access, is $127. Tables for parties ranging from 4 to 20 can be reserved for $160 per person, and the club has four private lounges for larger groups.

Almayass, 24 East 21st Street, (212) 473-3100

Lebanese-Armenian restaurant Almayass will offer a special menu New Year’s Eve that includes classic dishes like tabbouleh salad, bronzini, roasted duck, and baklava. The first seating costs $80 per person and begins at 5 p.m., while the second runs from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and costs $120 per person.

Almond, 12 East 22nd Street, (212) 228-7557

American bistro Almond hosts a four course meal featuring dishes such as cauliflower veloute with smoked oysters and truffle toast, red quinoa salad with blood orange avocado and a citrus vinaigrette, and butter poached lobster with leek cream, crispy saffron rice, and spicy shellfish broth. A champagne toast and DJed party follow the meal. Admission is $105 per person. 

Bread & Tulips, 365 Park Avenue South, (212) 532-9100

Celebrate at Bread & Tulips with a four course prix fixe dinner of Italian fare such as burrata with marinated tomatoes; duck breast served over mascarpone polenta; and chocolate and hazelnut mousse cake. Choose between the first seating at 6 p.m. for $65 per person or the second seating at 9 p.m. for $95 per person, which includes open bar access at their New Year’s Party.

Dos Caminos, 373 Park Avenue South, (212) 294-1000

Watch the ball drop at Dos Caminos as you enjoy a midnight toast and live DJ. The modern Mexican restaurant will also offer some special New Year’s Eve items in addition to their regular menu. After 8:30 p.m. only reservations will be seated.

The Flatiron Room, 37 West 26th Street, (212) 725-3860

The Flatiron Room, known for their huge whiskey selection and Prohibition era atmosphere, offers live jazz and a four course food menu for their New Years affair. Seating is at 10:00 p.m. and reservations are $165 per person. Whiskey pairings may be included as part of your reservation for an additional cost.

Harding’s, 32 East 21st Street, (212) 600-2105

Harding’s serves a New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu featuring traditional American cuisine, along with a four hour open bar for $150 per person. Seatings are at 8:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Reservations are required.

ilili, 236 Fifth Avenue, (212) 683-2929

Mediterranean staple ilili will have three seatings on New Year’s Eve, at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. The first seating ($55 per person) offers three courses plus labne and pita chips. The 7 pm seating ($75 per person) includes both hot and cold mezza. The 9 p.m. seating ($135 per person) includes a fish course and a champagne toast. Already have dinner plans? Go the next day for a New Year’s Day brunch featuring a $45 prix fixe menu and bottomless bubbles. 

Junoon, 27 West 24th Street, (212) 490-2100

Spend New Year’s Eve enjoying Junoon’s special tasting menu, followed by champagne at midnight. Seating for the event begins at 8:30 p.m.

Maysville, 17 West 26th Street, (646) 490-8240

American whisky bar and restaurant Maysville offers a four course prix fix menu with options such as roasted squab with caramelized onion, poached halibut with smoked crab, apple and roasted squash, and guinea hen with foie gras, celery root, pears and Swiss chard. The first seating, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., is $70 per person, and the second seating, beginning at 8:45 p.m., is $80 per person. 

Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, (212) 206-0440

The Metropolitan Room hosts the self-described "Biggest Party Ever," featuring acclaimed cabaret singer Marilyn Maye. Doors open at 9:30 p.m., and for the price of admission, you recieve a dinner of Chicken Francese with roasted potatoes & vegetables, pastries, open bar bar access, and party favors. Tickets start at $150 per person, and prices will go up after December 15th.

Raymi, 43 West 24th Street, (212) 929-1200

For the second year in a row, Peruvian restaurant Raymi hosts an early dinner followed by a party that will last until 4:00 a.m. Seating for dinner is between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and guests may choose from a four course menu or order a la carte. General admission to the post-dinner party is $125 per person, and VIP admission is $175 per person. 

SD26, 19 East 26th Street, (212) 265-5959

Tony and Marisa May of SD26 have crafted a delicious multicourse meal for their New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. The contemporary Italian dinner runs from 9:00 p.m. to midnight, followed by a party and music from DJ Felix Cutillo. Food, wine, and party favors are included for $250 per person.

Toshi’s Living Room and Penthouse, 1141 Broadway, (212) 679-8002

Toshi’s Penthouse, on the roof of the Flatiron Hotel, will host a New Year’s Eve Gala complete with a six hour open bar and two hours of passed hors d’oeurves. Early bird ticket buyers receive a discount, and an 8-person VIP table is available for $1000.

Belgian Beer Cafe, 220 Fifth Avenue, (212) 575-2337

Belgian Beer Cafe celebrates the new year twice! Once at 6:00 p.m., when it becomes 2015 in Belgium, and again at midnight. The restaurant airs live New Year's festivities from Belgium and serves a variety of speical dishes for the night.

Eataly, 200 Fifth Avenue, (212) 539-0205

From 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., enjoy a selection of 15 different Italian dishes at La Birreria on the roof of Eataly. Tickets go for $225 per person and include an open bar and live DJ. Eataly also hosts a dine around on New Year's Eve. Seven courses are served with wine pairings at six different restaurants. There are four seatings beginning at 7:15 p.m., for $195 per person.

Hanjan, 36 West 26th Street, (212) 206-7226

Traditional Korean restaurant Hanjan welcomes the new year with a dinner of off-the-menu dishes and a top shelf open bar. The dining experience is $120 per person and begins at 9:00 p.m.

Obica, 928 Broadway, (212) 777-2754

Obica celebrates their first New Year's Eve in the Flatiron District with a dinner party and open bar reception in the restaurant's downstairs space. Seating for the five course dinner is at 8:30 p.m. and costs $135 per person, plus an additional $60 for wine pairings. The reception runs from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and features DJ Kenny Maneuver and a live stream from Times Square. Reservations are between $90 and $100 at the door.  

Osteria del Principe, 27 East 23rd Street, (646) 596-7864

Osteria del Principe offers a five course meal that includes a warm goat cheese, prosciutto, endive and pomegranate salad, truffled ham filled ravioli with porcini mushrooms, and seared Chilean seabass served on a fava bean puree with crispy prosciutto. The 7:00 p.m. dinner is $78 per person and comes with a complimentary glass of prosecco.

Tre Stelle, 29 West 24th Street, (212) 255-4655

Tre Stelle hosts a four course New Year's Eve dinner featuring authentic Italian dishes such as burrata with prosciutto di parma and cherry tomatoes, porcini mushroom ravioli in walnut cream sauce and white truffle oil, and affogato al caffe. The meal is $86 per person and includes a glass of Prosecco.
