New Neighbor: Shay & Ivy

Progressive American restaurant Shay & Ivy opened its doors last month in the Flatiron District at 39 West 24th Street. The 90-seat restaurant includes bar seating, a 36-seat 450 square-foot enclosed patio, and an event space called the “Garden Room” featuring a separate bar to accommodate private events.

Managing Partner Evan Rosenberg said that the team at Shay & Ivy is looking forward to being part of the continued growth in the neighborhood. “We’re beyond excited to bring Shay & Ivy to a vibrant neighborhood with such a deep culture and history. In the short time we have been in the Flatiron District, we have witnessed the openings of three restaurants on our block alone. Foot traffic is up, new businesses are opening, and there is more to explore than ever with Madison Square Park, Eataly, and the Flatiron Building.”

Shay & Ivy’s menu, which was created by Executive Chef Brad Warner, features a range of accessible dishes designed to lure neighborhood diners. Some of the signature dishes include Chili Salmon Crudo, Burrata and Buttercup Squash, Amish Free-Range Roast Chicken, and Grilled Berkshire Pork Chop for two.

The restaurant also features a curated cocktail program with high-quality ingredients and spirits, fresh-pressed juices, and a premiere coffee program.

Shay & Ivy serves weekend brunch and lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Dinner is served from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
