New Neighbor: Izakaya NoMad

Restaurant diversity on West 26th Street continues to flourish in the Flatiron District and rounding out the already eclectic selections on this block is newcomer Izakaya NoMad, a Japanese pub.

Relocated from New York City's Koreatown, Izakaya NoMad features small plates, such as yakitori and sashimi. For the late night crowds, pork-based ramen is available after 10:00 p.m. The bar features a selection of sake, as well as craft and Japanese beers, including Hitachino Nest XH which has been aged in sake casks for three months.

The space features exposed brick and both communal dining and private booths. Colorful murals are found throughout, one of which pays homage to another neighborhood destination, Shake Shack!

Hours are Monday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Izakaya NoMad, 13 West 26th Street, between Broadway and Sixth Avenue, (212) 213-6258.
